The feature family for the next issue of Home Educating Family Magazine faces challenges in a unique way.  Tim Hawkins has become a prominent feature in the world of music and comedy with spoofs on songs such as Jesus Take the Wheel, The Candy Man Can and one popular to the homeschooling community The Adams Family theme song. Hawkins is about as funny as they come but it was only in 2002 demand for his act rose and he has been able to leave his day job in order to pursue his comedy career.Â
Hawkins comedy is original, physical and very energetic. He often combines music with his sense of humor and the results are truly unique.  But his life off the stage is truly that of a normal father and husband. As a result of his varied past Hawkins is able to speak and preform to a multi-generational audience and hit it out of the park each and every time. Â
Hawkins has four children and a wonderful wife. They have stood by each other even in times of challenge. Hawkins wife is fighting and winning a courageous battle with Breast Cancer. He gets much of his material from his experiences as a father and husband as well as the experiences of their children.Â
